These two books by Ben Phelper are included in this collection because they depict experiences that Harley endured, in common with Ben and thousands of other Airmen in WWII. Both Harley and Ben were Enlisted aircrew on B-17s flying missions to Germany from England and they both were shot down and incarcerated in Stalag XVII-B at approximately the same time.
